Existential rights, rights of existence, are those that are not dependent on the laws or customs of any particular culture or government, and therefore universal and inalienable (i.e., rights that cannot be repealed or restrained by human laws). They apply to the individual, the human species, as well as other species. These rights are the beams in a framework that ensures that people can realize higher states of being.
The Virtual Global Nation (VGN) is an open, bottom-up, meta-level democratic government, as well as an international governmental organization (IGO). It is designed to provide a new kind of government to empower people around the world to deal with today's most pressing systemic and exacerbatory issues. We accomplish this by providing a new kind of cross-border voting, actionable paths, new institutional models, and new check-and-balance systems. VGN is made possible by a new layer in cyberspace designed and built by Rational Data International, Inc. (RDI), a public benefit corporation. The new layer in cyberspace conceptually and in practice through satellite and other technologies surrounds the planet in effect making a sphere around a sphere This provides a way to move governance from the limited geographically tied jurisdictions to a non-geographically tied layer. This in turn provides a new level playing field for the planetary citizen.
In part, this technology was designed to support a new system of government that is based in cyberspace and is available to people all over the world through the farthest reaching medium we have today, the internet. On another level, the technology was designed to support a Planetary Management System (PMS). This new layer in cyberspace along with the platforms that accompany it provide the foundation for a whole new economy, a new land standard, new currency, and a new set of tools, these things and more coupled together in a synergistic offering provide a credible, tangible path to bring this to reality. All this, while honoring the sovereignty of current day nation states.
Firewalls of Freedom allow us to ensure the rights of the planetary citizen, while preserving the rich cultures, histories and more that exist in the world’s diverse populations. It is a firm statement that puts a firewall in place against the concerns associated with top down governance; while answering this reality with a government of the people. This allows us to move forward, and establish a Planetary Management System - manage planetary resources, develop ongoing sustainability and increase the standard of living for people all over the planet.

Individuals who live on planet Earth have standing in such issues and deserve representation. The Virtual Global Nation allows for these items to be moved from the geographically-tied political systems to one that is accessible by people all over the world and transcends geo-political lines by utilizing new third generation web technology.
We have a vision of a time when humanity as a whole, can realize higher states of being, entering into a time of peace, plenitude, happiness and love. And from this place step boldly out into the universe while we reach for the stars. To achieve this, we need to realize these states of being within ourselves individually, and we need to create the structural conditions for this to emerge on a planetary scale and beyond.

Article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) recognises the right to an adequate standard of living, stating that:

VGN has set up a completely new legal system based on secure encryption technologies, with this there are institutional bodies for dispute resolution, property registration, and a variety of other services, that are at present usually fragmented to local governmental bodies. By putting this new standard in place we make this system universally acceptable.
The new architecture provides for a new currency that is based in real world value. This is in contrast many of today’s fiat currencies, whether they are paper money or cryptocurrencies. In today's globalized world (a different world than existed even fifty years ago), many issues cross geo-political boundaries. These issues are often relegated to a poorly defined group of International Governmental Organizations (IGOs), none of which provide mechanisms to represent "the people" who are affected by these issues.
How Was This Developed?
The governance model called the Virtual Global Nation was developed as a component of the Universal Solution Model (USM) and the Planetary Solution Model (PSM). These solution models were developed by Rational Data International, Inc., a Public Benefit Corporation.
